The AGM-84H/K SLAM-ER (Standoff Land Attack Missile - Expanded Response) is an air-launched cruise missile developed from the Harpoon anti-ship missile. It features an infrared terminal guidance system that allows attacking of land and sea targets. The SLAM-ER has a significantly greater range than its predecessor and can be controlled in flight via a datalink from an observation aircraft.
